BIO

Peter has over 35 years of insurance industry related experience, retiring from Chubb Insurance Group as a Senior Vice President, Worldwide Administration Manager.  His roles,  responsibilities and executive expertise included audit & compliance requirements, operational budgeting and expense control, vendor management and resource oversight, outside panel counsel, staff counsel, field staff, legal analysis of risk exposures, and statistical analysis of financial outcomes. Demonstrated proficiencies include administrative oversight of claim personnel, staff attorneys and support, auditors, strategic budget analysts, and compliance specialists.  

 

Responsibilities also included execution of customer service, technical quality, staff management and development, marketing of departmental capabilities, fiscal accountability for territorial operation’s performance including allocated loss expense costs, case reserves, resolution costs, and compensation management/ULAE.  Directed annual initiatives through quality analysis, implemented strategies that generated gains in operational efficiencies and process improvements, and provided oversight that ensured the highest level of service by identifying trends against operational metrics and analytics.  Promoted customer and producer relations, collaboration with business partners, and implemented metrics for creation of superior customer experience.

 

Peter also has led and participated on various projects and cross functional teams, with experience in managing operational efficiency and change management which initiatives resulted in significant gains in productivity, operational effectiveness and process improvements within the organization.  He has served as a member of the Claim & Litigation Management Advisory Board, the Executive Council for CLM Claim College School of Casualty Management, and as a board advisor for RISE.  Since 2016, Peter has consulted with law firms, and both a legal tech firm and Atlanta start-up tech firms.

 

Peter has a B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in General Business / Labor Relations from Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, and a Certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the American Institute for CPCU’s Insurance Executive Development program.
